Grassroots football across Wales, and here at BTM United FC is led by an incredibly committed army of volunteers, thankfully each giving up time from their other commitments to support children to play football within their local Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen community, or slightly further afield.

We know that our volunteers face many challenges and that it can be difficult at times, plus to recruit new volunteers to help with running our club can also be a challenge but the starkest fact is that 'If we don't have enough active volunteers, the children's love of playing football gets curtailed and the club folds'.

Therefore, the FAW Trust has developed 'Clwb Cymru' of which we're going to be utilising their many provided resources to help our volunteers make their lives easier, and ensure that we can also together sustain and further develop a thriving volunteer community and grassroots game for the future in our local area.

Lots of relevant content will be added to this section, and we hope it will be of some assistance to you as a current volunteer in the club, or even somebody who is looking to become involved with the club as a new volunteer.
